We stopped by Buenas Coffee and were really happy with our drinks. We ordered a chai and a latte, and both were excellent. The chai, in particular, stood out it was well balanced flavor that most places struggle to get right. You could tell they put care into making their drinks.

I yearn for cafes with quality beverages and cozy atmospheres, and Buenas definitely checks both those boxes. The barista was kind enough to recommend the Sweet Disco and it did not disappoint; I appreciate when espresso is not wholly overwhelmed by milk and sugar. The cafe itself is not very big, lending to a more cozy atmosphere, but surprisingly provides ample seating for its size (indoors and out). TL;DR - Great latte, helpful baristas, good atmosphere - I would definitely come back to try their other drinks.

Consistently Great Flat Whites in Costa Mesa If you’re serious about coffee, Buenas in Costa Mesa is a must-visit. Every time I come here, the flat white is consistently phenomenal—smooth, rich, and perfectly textured. It’s clear they care about their craft, from the quality of the beans to the precision in steaming the milk. A Fun Touch: Latte Art on Hot Chocolate The kids ordered hot chocolate, and what made it extra special? They actually did latte art on it! It’s such a thoughtful detail and adds a little magic to a simple drink. Cool hidden coffee house they even roast their own beans I believe. The chai and matcha drinks are also excellent. -Could use a little more variety of pastries -Also more comfortable cushions for the seats would be appreciated

This place is a charming coffee shop with Latin vibes offering creative drinks and outside seating. The staff is friendly and very fast knocking out each order. I ordered the Mallows and Molasses, which has a toasted marshmallow, brown butter and molasses. The drink is really smooth and rich. I enjoyed this spot, will come back when I’m in the area again.

I always get the iced palo santo - it is really good! I already love burning palo santo inside my home so I love the scent, and now I get to have it in iced coffee form! Service is fast and friendly. I tried the homemade strawberry poptart today, super delicious!
